PHOTOGRAPHY
LIFE IS A JOURNEY WITH A CAMERA…
My passion is travel photography and and I’ve been fortunate to travel over the years. I enjoy capturing people, different cultures, lifestyles and landscapes.
In 2015 I was commissioned to work for an Indian Tour Company to take photos in Arunachal Pradesh, North-East India, travelling for two weeks and documenting the trip, providing photos. I am available for Tour Companies who need quality photos.
In September 2011 I was officially awarded my Photographic Honours AFIAP and AAPS.
In order to continue improving my photography, I undertake short courses and day workshops.
POST-PROCESSING
Each image chosen is individually post-processed prior to printing.
The Photos are taken as RAW files, processed in Photoshop and Lightroom, saved as the highest quality TIFF files and therefore large, top quality prints are possible.
Images can be processed in Colour, Black and White, Sepia or a number of other special photo retouching treatments can be achieved. All portraits that you receive will have been fully colour corrected, enhanced and retouched to my high standards.
PRINTING
The Canon pro printer is the printer of choice. Having full control of the photographic process from the taking of the pictures, to the processing, to the printing guarantees that the quality will top notch.
Photos seen on my site or flickr are available for sale.

PHOTOGRAPHIC HONOURS/LETTERS
As I enjoy having a goal and challenge, I became a member of the APS (Australian Photographic Society) in January 2010 to work towards AFIAP and AAPS Photographic Letters.
These are two completely different bodies.
To attain these letters you have to enter and achieve acceptances and awards Nationally and Internationally, competing with the world’s best photographers.
It has been a fantastic goal and very rewarding and I have surprised myself with various awards throughout the year.
My goal was to achieve this in only one year so it has been full-on!
I was awarded my Photographic Honours AFIAP and AAPS, on 30th September 2011.
To meet the AAPS Honours you need to be a Member of the APS (Australian Photographic Society) and enter National and International Photo Salons. http://www.a-p-s.org.au/ Points are accumulated for any photo Acceptances and Awards are given for anything higher than an Acceptance, such as Best of Show, First, Second, Third Place, Honourable Mentions, Merits, etc.
The Society rewards its members who achieve excellence in photography. Members achieve different levels because of their motivation, exemplary service, desire to reach a goal, improve self esteem, recognition of their skill, artistry and ability. Recognition to APS members is given for skill in the form the Honours category that is being applied for, in my case, Associate (AAPS).
The second lot of Honours I aimed for is through the FIAP. The Photographic letters attained here are the AFIAP or Artist FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art). The FIAP website is: http://www.fiap.net/index-en.php.
