I entered the International Loupe Awards for the third year, receiving 8 bronze awards.   Overall I received more awards than the previous two years, narrowly missing out on silver awards with three images.

This year, I entered some images into the Open Section and some images into the Amateur Section.

An Amateur photographer is defined as someone who does not get the majority of their income from photography.

Image 1, 3, 4 were entered into the Open Section.

The remaining images were entered into the Amateur Section.

I don’t think it made any difference as to what section I entered into!
I have found both Sections to be equally as difficult and challenging due to the fact that there are so many outstanding Amateur photographers, in fact, some Amateur photographers are better than the Professional photographers who enter into the Open Section.
